Founded in 2014 in Belgium, Swanest began as a FinTech company offering a robo-advisory platform to help retail investors build and manage personalized investment portfolios. The company focused on providing automated, data-driven investment tools. In October 2021, Swanest was acquired by the Belgian digital identity app itsme®. Following the acquisition, the Swanest technology and team were integrated into a new B2B offering called "itsme® Invest," which provides a white-label, embeddable investment solution for banks and other financial service providers to offer to their own customers.
