Established in 1970, the Students' Loan Bureau (SLB) is a statutory organization operating under the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service of Jamaica. Its mission is to ensure that qualified, financially needy Jamaican students have access to the funding necessary to complete their tertiary studies at approved institutions. The SLB provides a range of loan products, including tuition financing and grants, to help students cover the costs of their education, thereby facilitating the development of Jamaica's human capital.
