Originally founded in 1957 as Bechtel Employees Federal Credit Union, Spectrum Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution dedicated to serving its members. It is owned and operated by its members, with a mission to provide a safe, convenient place to save and to obtain loans at reasonable rates. The credit union offers a comprehensive suite of financial products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, mortgages, and various personal and vehicle loans. Membership is primarily open to employees and retirees of Bechtel Corporation and other Select Employer Groups (SEGs), as well as individuals in specific communities in California and Texas.
