Formed in 2017, the South African SME Finance Association (SASFA) is a non-profit body representing non-bank Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) finance providers. Its core mission is to foster a professional, ethical, and transparent SME finance industry in South Africa. SASFA achieves this by promoting a universal Code of Conduct for its members, advocating for the industry's interests, and engaging with government, regulators, and other stakeholders to create a more supportive environment for SME funding.
