Smart Woman Securities (SWS) UMass Amherst Chapter is a chapter of the national non-profit organization Smart Woman Securities. Its mission is to provide undergraduate women of all academic backgrounds with the knowledge and confidence to make investment decisions. The chapter accomplishes this through a comprehensive 10-week seminar series covering topics from personal finance to valuation analysis, mentorship programs with industry professionals, and hands-on experience by researching companies and managing a real-money investment portfolio.
