Information by Research TrustFinance
RXIL is a joint venture between the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). Launched in 2017, it operates as India's first Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS) platform under the regulatory framework of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The company's primary mission is to address the working capital challenges faced by MSMEs by providing a transparent and efficient online mechanism where MSME sellers can discount their invoices and bills of exchange raised against corporate and other buyers, including government departments and PSUs. The platform connects MSMEs (sellers), corporate buyers, and financiers (banks and NBFCs) to enable competitive bidding for receivables, ensuring prompt realization of funds for MSMEs.
