Rural Agency for Development (RAFODE) began as an indigenous Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in 2004 and was later incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in 2011. Its mission is to economically and socially empower rural communities in Kenya, with a particular focus on women, youth, and smallholder farmers. The organization provides access to credit, business training, and market linkages to help its clients build sustainable livelihoods and improve their quality of life.
