Established in November 2015, The Pre-Pack Pool is an independent UK body designed to increase transparency and confidence in pre-pack administration sales. Its primary mission is to scrutinise deals where connected parties, such as existing directors or shareholders, are the purchasers of the business or its assets. Comprised of a panel of experienced business people, the Pool provides a non-binding opinion to the insolvency practitioner on the viability of the connected party's plans, helping to ensure the transaction is fair and in the best interests of creditors.
