Porch Financial, which later operated as Porch Mortgage, was the financial services arm of Porch Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRCH). Its mission was to integrate mortgage lending directly into the Porch ecosystem, which provides a wide range of software and services for homebuyers and homeowners, including home inspections, insurance, and moving services. The division aimed to simplify the home financing process for consumers already using other Porch services. In November 2022, Porch Group announced its decision to exit the mortgage origination business, and Porch Mortgage subsequently ceased accepting new applications and wound down its operations.
