In a significant market move, Prudential plc sold its Taiwanese life insurance business to Taishin Financial Holdings. The transaction was completed on June 30, 2021, and the company was officially renamed Taishin Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (台新人壽保險股份有限公司) on August 23, 2021. Now fully integrated into the Taishin Financial group, the company continues its mission to provide comprehensive life insurance, health insurance, and accident coverage to individuals and families throughout Taiwan, leveraging the strong financial backing and brand recognition of its new parent company.
