P2P Global Investments PLC (P2PGI) was launched in 2014 as the first UK-listed investment trust focused on opportunities in the peer-to-peer lending and alternative finance market. The company raised capital from public investors and deployed it by purchasing loans and credit assets from various platforms across the globe. In September 2017, the company was rebranded to Pollen Street Secured Lending plc (PSSL) to better reflect its investment strategy managed by Pollen Street Capital. It was subsequently renamed again to Alternative Credit Investments PLC (ACI) in 2019. In 2020, following a strategic review and shareholder feedback, the company's shareholders voted to place it into a managed wind-down, a process of selling off all assets and returning the capital to shareholders.
