Novae Group plc was a specialty insurance and reinsurance underwriter that operated through its syndicate at Lloyd's of London (Syndicate 2007). Founded in its modern form in 2006, the company was listed on the London Stock Exchange and focused on providing coverage for property, casualty, marine, aviation, and political risk. In 2017, Novae Group was acquired by Bermuda-based AXIS Capital Holdings Limited for approximately $604 million. Following the acquisition, the Novae brand and operations were fully integrated into AXIS Capital, and its business now continues under the AXIS Insurance and AXIS Re brands.
