Metromile Enterprise is the B2B technology licensing division of Lemonade. Originally part of Metromile, a pioneer in pay-per-mile auto insurance and AI-based claims processing, the company was acquired by Lemonade in July 2022. The acquisition was driven by Lemonade's interest in Metromile's advanced technology, particularly its telematics data, proprietary AI claims platform, and fraud detection systems. Today, Metromile Enterprise offers this technology as a complete, white-label Software as a Service (SaaS) platform to other insurance carriers, enabling them to launch and manage their own modern, data-driven insurance products.
