Founded in 1971 to serve members of the Gremio Lusitano, a Portuguese-American social club, LUSO Federal Credit Union has since grown to become a community-chartered institution. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to provide its members with affordable, high-quality financial services, including personal and business banking, loans, and mortgages. Unlike a traditional bank, its profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
