Founded in 2009 by students from the Franca campus of São Paulo State University (UNESP), the Liga de Mercado Financeiro (LMF) is a student-run organization dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and the professional financial industry. Its mission is to develop its members' skills and understanding of the financial market through practical and theoretical activities, including study groups, lectures with market professionals, workshops, and participation in simulated and real investment challenges. The organization aims to prepare students for successful careers in finance by fostering a deep knowledge base and providing valuable networking opportunities.
