KoinOK
Information by Research Trustfinance
KoinOK was a digital asset exchange founded in Delhi, India, that aimed to provide a secure and user-friendly platform for Indian users to buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies. It distinguished itself by launching a peer-to-peer (P2P) trading model which allowed users to trade directly with each other, a move designed to circumvent the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) 2018 circular that restricted banks from dealing with cryptocurrency-related entities. Despite this, due to the prolonged regulatory uncertainty and banking difficulties, KoinOK announced the permanent closure of its operations in June 2019.
