Jiko
Information by Research Trustfinance
Jiko is a bank holding company that has merged banking and brokerage services to create a new model for money storage. Founded in 2016, the company's mission is to provide a safer and more transparent alternative to traditional bank deposits by allowing customers' funds to be directly invested in short-term government-backed T-bills. In 2020, Jiko made history by acquiring a nationally chartered bank (Mid-Central National Bank), making it the first fintech to do so. This unique structure allows it to offer fluid, on-demand access to T-bill investments that are held at a custodian in the customer's name.
