In July 2021, Ixaris was acquired by the global payments and card issuance company Nium. The acquisition integrated Ixaris's advanced virtual card technology into Nium's broader platform, enhancing its B2B payment offerings, particularly for the travel ecosystem. The Ixaris brand now represents Nium's dedicated travel payments vertical.
