Founded in 1959 by eight Iowa State University employees, ISU Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to help members achieve financial success by providing a range of financial services including savings and checking accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services. As a cooperative, profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
