InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) is a key part of the German government's Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub), founded in 2017. Its mission is to advance the future of insurance by building a leading platform that unites traditional insurance corporations with innovative startups, technology companies, investors, and academic institutions. ITHM runs accelerator and innovation programs to help early and late-stage startups develop and scale their technologies and business models, thereby driving digital transformation within the global insurance industry.
