Indy BAnC, Corp. was incorporated in 1993 to serve as the bank holding company for its subsidiary, The Bank of Indianapolis, a state-chartered commercial bank. The bank provided a full range of banking services to customers in the Indianapolis area and was supervised by the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In 2007, Indy BAnC was acquired by Lakeland Financial Corporation, the parent company of Lake City Bank, and its operations were subsequently merged.
