Founded in 1968, iHela Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that operates as a member-owned cooperative. Its mission is to provide affordable and personalized financial services to its members. The credit union primarily serves the employees of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 98, their families, and select employer groups. As a not-for-profit entity, any earnings are returned to members through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
