Established in 1966, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body responsible for promoting, assisting, and developing Hong Kong's trade. With 50 offices globally, including 13 in mainland China, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub. Its primary mission is to create opportunities for local companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), by connecting them with business partners and markets worldwide. The HKTDC achieves this through organizing international exhibitions, conferences, and business missions, as well as providing up-to-date market intelligence and business information through digital platforms and research publications.
