The Guyana Youth Business Trust (GYBT) is an accredited member of the Youth Business International (YBI) network. Launched in June 2000, its mission is to empower young Guyanese (aged 18-35) to become successful entrepreneurs. The organization provides a combination of low-interest startup loans, ongoing guidance from experienced business mentors, and business development training. By offering these integrated services, GYBT aims to foster economic growth, reduce unemployment, and create sustainable livelihoods for youth in Guyana.
