Your Island Pension (YIP) is the official retirement savings scheme established under the States of Guernsey's Secondary Pensions legislation. The law requires employers in Guernsey to provide their employees with access to a qualifying pension scheme. YIP serves as the designated, government-endorsed option for employers to fulfill this obligation. The scheme is administered by Sovereign Pension Services (CI) Limited and the investments are managed by Utmost. Its mission is to provide a simple, cost-effective, and accessible way for the people of Guernsey to build a private pension pot to supplement their States Pension.
