Founded by Andrew J. Young, Michael Render (Killer Mike), and Ryan Glover, Greenwood is a financial technology company focused on serving the Black and Latino communities. Its mission is to address the historical wealth gap by providing modern digital banking services, including spending and savings accounts, and by reinvesting profits back into the community through grants and donations to minority-owned businesses and initiatives. Greenwood is not a bank itself, but rather provides banking services through a partnership with an FDIC-insured institution, Coastal Community Bank.
