The company gained significant traction as one of the continent's prominent exchanges but faced severe operational challenges. In 2018, its business was critically impacted when the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) ordered the closure of its bank accounts, leading to a legal battle. Following these regulatory pressures and internal shareholder disputes, the company became insolvent and was placed under final liquidation in 2020, ceasing all operations.
