Founded in 2005, the Georgian Financial Markets Treasuries Association (GFMTA) is a self-regulatory body uniting dealers in Georgia's interbank market. Its mission is to promote the establishment of ethical principles, standards of professional conduct, and market conventions within the Georgian financial markets. The association is a member of ACI - The Financial Markets Association and actively works to develop the local financial market infrastructure, improve professional skills through education and certification, and facilitate cooperation among its members and with regulatory bodies.
