Founded in 2001, FX Solutions, LLC was a prominent retail foreign exchange (forex) broker headquartered in Saddle River, New Jersey. The company offered online trading services in forex and CFDs through its proprietary Global Trading System (GTS) platform as well as MetaTrader 4. It grew to be one of the larger US-based forex brokers, with international offices and regulation in the UK and Australia. In October 2014, the company was acquired by City Index, a subsidiary of GAIN Capital Holdings (now part of StoneX Group Inc.). Following the acquisition, the FX Solutions brand was discontinued, and its operations and client accounts were absorbed into City Index and its sister company, Forex.com, by early 2015.
