Founded in 1912, Four Oaks Bank & Trust Company was a community bank headquartered in Four Oaks, North Carolina. It operated as the primary subsidiary of Four Oaks Fincorp, Inc., serving individuals and businesses primarily in central and eastern North Carolina. The bank offered a standard suite of services including personal and business checking/savings accounts, mortgages, and commercial loans. In November 2017, Four Oaks Fincorp, Inc. and its subsidiary, Four Oaks Bank, were acquired by and merged into United Community Banks, Inc. All former Four Oaks Bank branches were subsequently rebranded as United Community Bank.
