Fortis Mobile Money was a mobile money operator in Nigeria, launched as a subsidiary of Fortis Microfinance Bank Plc. Its mission was to drive financial inclusion by providing accessible and easy-to-use digital financial services, such as money transfers, bill payments, and airtime top-ups, to the unbanked and underbanked population through a network of agents and mobile technology. Operations ceased after its parent company, Fortis Microfinance Bank Plc, faced regulatory action and had its license revoked in 2018.
