Founded in 2016, Flyreel developed a proprietary computer vision and artificial intelligence platform that allows insurance policyholders to conduct detailed interior and exterior property inspections using their own smartphones. The technology guides users through the process, automatically capturing high-quality data and identifying risks, hazards, and property features for underwriting, claims, and loss control. In July 2021, Flyreel was acquired by LexisNexis Risk Solutions and has since been integrated into its portfolio of insurance data and analytics services.
