Flux is a decentralized Web3 cloud infrastructure comprised of user-operated, scalable, and globally available computing nodes. It provides an alternative to traditional cloud service providers like AWS or Google Cloud by offering decentralized infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS). The project, which evolved from the earlier ZelCash project, aims to empower developers and businesses to build and deploy applications on a censorship-resistant and globally distributed network. The entire ecosystem is powered by the native $FLUX coin, which is used for governance, node collateral, and payments on the network.
