The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is the headquarters of the Tenth Federal Reserve District, which serves western Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Colorado, and northern New Mexico. As part of the nation's central bank, it participates in setting monetary policy, provides financial services to depository institutions and the U.S. government, and supervises banking organizations within its district.
