Originally founded as Enso Financial Analytics, the company was a financial technology firm that provided hedge funds and asset managers with a platform for portfolio analytics, counterparty risk management, and treasury functions. It offered tools to give institutional investors a transparent, aggregated view of their assets, liabilities, and exposures across multiple prime brokers. In 2016, Enso was acquired by CME Group, the world's leading derivatives marketplace, and has since been integrated into its post-trade services division, often alongside its TriOptima service. Today, Enso continues its mission of providing data-driven insights and workflow solutions for the OTC trading community under the CME Group umbrella.
