Enforcement Conduct Board
Information by Research TrustFinance
The Enforcement Conduct Board (ECB) is an independent body established to provide oversight of the enforcement industry. Its mission is to ensure that all those subject to enforcement action are treated fairly. The ECB achieves this by setting standards, reviewing and improving practices, and providing a clear and straightforward process for handling complaints about the conduct of enforcement agents. It was created following a 2019 Ministry of Justice call for evidence which identified a need for independent regulation of the sector.
