Established in 1996 as a project of World Vision International and registered as a local foundation in 2001, EKI Microcredit Foundation is a leading microfinance institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its mission is to provide financial services, primarily micro-loans, to individuals who lack access to traditional banking but have viable business ideas. By offering capital for agriculture, small businesses, and general household needs, EKI aims to activate the entrepreneurial potential of its clients, create employment opportunities, and foster economic development within local communities.
