Danmarks Eksport- og Investeringsfond (EIFO) was established on January 1, 2023, through a merger of three state-owned entities: EKF Danmarks Eksportkredit, Vækstfonden, and Danmarks Grønne Investeringsfond. As the national promotional bank of Denmark, EIFO's mission is to support Danish businesses and entrepreneurs by providing risk-tolerant government capital through loans, guarantees, and equity investments. The organization has a special focus on bolstering Danish exports, promoting the green transition, and fostering growth and innovation within small and medium-sized enterprises.
