Dimo Pay Indonesia
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 2014, PT Dimo Pay Indonesia was a key player in popularizing QR code payments in the Indonesian market through its "Pay by QR" service. The company's technology allowed users to make cashless payments at merchants by simply scanning a QR code with their smartphone's mobile banking or e-wallet application. In December 2017, Dimo was acquired by GO-JEK (now part of the GoTo Group) to strengthen its Go-Pay (now GoPay) digital wallet ecosystem. Dimo's technology and merchant network were integrated into GoPay, forming a crucial foundation for the development of the QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payment system used widely across Indonesia today.
