DigiPe is a major financial inclusion initiative launched by CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Its primary mission is to bridge the digital divide by enabling citizens, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, to access their bank accounts using their Aadhaar number and biometrics for authentication. The platform allows for essential banking services such as cash withdrawal, balance enquiry, mini statements, and domestic money transfers without needing to visit a bank branch.
