Defender Capital Management (DCM) is an investment fund managed entirely by students at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. Established in 2005 through a donation, its primary mission is educational: to provide business, accounting, and finance students with practical, hands-on experience in security analysis, portfolio management, and investment principles within a Christian ethical framework. Students are responsible for all investment decisions, managing a real-money portfolio with the goal of long-term capital appreciation under the guidance of faculty advisors.
