Founded in 2016 by Kunal Bajaj, Jaideep Shergill, and Sreekanth Meenakshi, Clearfunds was a financial technology startup based in India. It operated as a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, providing an online platform for retail investors to buy, sell, and manage direct plans of mutual funds without paying commissions. The platform aimed to simplify the investment process with data-driven fund recommendations. In October 2018, Clearfunds was acquired by the digital financial services company Mobikwik to build out its wealth management vertical. The Clearfunds team and technology were subsequently integrated into the Mobikwik platform.
