Founded in 2003 by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, the CPCDC is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote and finance the economic development of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and other Native Americans. As a U.S. Treasury certified Native CDFI, it provides access to capital and financial services that are often unavailable from traditional banks. Key services include business loans for startups and expansions, credit builder loans, employee loans, and comprehensive financial education and credit counseling to empower its clients and foster economic self-sufficiency.
