The Cheektowaga Local Development Corporation (CLDC) is a not-for-profit corporation formed in 2011 to handle the economic development activities for the Town of Cheektowaga, taking over the functions of the original Cheektowaga Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) established in 1980. The CLDC's mission is to advance job opportunities, economic welfare, and the standard of living for residents by providing financial assistance and other benefits to businesses looking to expand or relocate within the town. Its services include managing a Revolving Loan Fund to offer gap financing and providing exemptions from mortgage recording taxes to eligible projects.
