Founded in 1977, Cascade Bancorp operated as the holding company for Bank of the Cascades. The bank focused on providing a full range of commercial and retail banking services to businesses, professionals, and individuals primarily in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Its services included various deposit accounts, commercial and consumer loans, and wealth management. In May 2017, Cascade Bancorp was officially acquired by First Interstate BancSystem, Inc., and its subsidiary, Bank of the Cascades, was merged into First Interstate Bank.
