Founded in 1996, Boomalakka is the University of Virginia's premier student-run investment club, which has grown to over 100 active members. The club's mission is to promote a greater understanding of the financial markets and to teach its members how to become better investors. It achieves this by actively managing a six-figure, long-only equity portfolio that is diversified across ten industries.
