Founded in 1980, blumshapiro grew to become the largest regional business advisory firm based in New England, serving a diverse clientele of privately held companies, non-profit organizations, and government entities. The firm provided a wide range of services including accounting, assurance, tax compliance and consulting, and business advisory services. In January 2021, blumshapiro merged with national professional services firm CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), significantly expanding CLA's presence in the Northeast. The blumshapiro brand, team, and services were fully integrated into CLA.
