Founded in 2013, Bitcoin Co., Ltd. was one of Thailand's first and largest digital asset exchange platforms, operating under the brand name BX Thailand (BX.in.th). The company provided a platform for Thai citizens to buy, sell, and trade a variety of cryptocurrencies using the Thai Baht (THB). After receiving a Digital Asset Exchange license from the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2018, the company made a strategic business decision to discontinue its exchange services and did not seek to renew its license for 2020. The platform officially ceased all trading and deposit activities on September 30, 2019, to allow the company to pursue other business opportunities.
