Founded in 1997 as Luoyang City Commercial Bank, Bank of Luoyang was a joint-stock commercial bank headquartered in Luoyang, Henan Province, China. It provided comprehensive financial services including corporate banking (loans, deposits, trade finance), retail banking (personal loans, mortgages, credit cards), and financial market services. The bank's mission was to serve the local economy, small and medium-sized enterprises, and urban and rural residents. In May 2022, Bank of Luoyang was officially merged and absorbed by Bank of Central Plains Co., Ltd. as part of a provincial government-led consolidation of regional banking assets to create a larger, more competitive provincial bank.
