Founded in 2018 by Nitin Agarwal and Miles Paschini, B21 Capital aimed to simplify cryptocurrency investing for the mass market. The platform allowed users to create and manage their own portfolios of cryptocurrencies or invest in curated portfolios with a single tap. It offered custodial services, enabling users to easily buy, sell, and store digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others. In January 2023, B21 Capital was acquired by the US-based investing platform Public.com to expand Public's cryptocurrency offerings and integrate B21's technology and team. Following the acquisition, the B21 app and its standalone services were phased out.
